SinCity3.jpg 2007 has been a very strong year for hard rock, and the quality new releases keep rolling in.

There have been a few AC/DC inspired rock releases in 2007, and This Ain’t Heaven…Welcome To Hell is one of the better ones.

The German rock band, Sin City, started as a AC/DC tribute band, but with three strong releases under their belt, they have plenty of tunes to be proud of themselves.

The music on This Ain’t Heaven…Welcome To Hell is so strong, that I often forget that it isn’t AC/DC that I am listening to. Porty Portner has Bon Scott’s vocal sound down to a tee. The combined guitar might of Dschürgen Young and Heiko “The Rocker” Haag, will have you rocking out, and in search of your favorite cold beverage in no time.

I have quite a few favorites on this record, including the tunes, Horny, Sign It, Taking In Your Sleep (The Romantics Cover) and New Jack City. There honestly isn’t a bad cut in the bunch.

If you are rock purist, and are looking for something completely original, Sin City is not an act that you will want to try out. If you are fan like myself that prefers hard rocking tunes with a good beat and a party rock vibe, Sin City delivers the goods! You can pick up your copy of This Ain’t Heaven……Welcome to Hell at the following link. http://www.sin-city.de/puresincity/pages/shop.php

It will make a great stocking stuffer for your favorite AC/DC or Sin City fan!

I Agree, i think porty portner sounds like porty portner, and georg dolivo(rhino bucket) sounds like bon scott!!, by far this is the best cd iv’e heard since rhino buckets debut in 1990, and someone should send a copy to hollywood, “NEW JACK CITY”, has sound track written all over it.
