Australian rockers AIRBOURNE have set “No Guts, No Glory” as the title of their second album, due on February 23, 2010 via Roadrunner Records. The CD was recorded in Chicago with noted producer Johnny K (DISTURBED, 3 DOORS DOWN, STAIND). The band relocated from its shared home in Warrnambool and moved into K’s spacious studio to record the album.
Frontman Joel O’Keefe says: “Working with Johnny was great; he’s one of the boys. We basically just set up all the gear, chucked a few mics around and went for it! Good times!” Brother and drummer Ryan confirms the precarious microphone placement: “With this album, we threw the mics all over the building, left the doors and windows open and pressed record!”
AIRBOURNE, known for its adrenalized, “work hard, play harder” style of rock, will embark on a two-month European tour in early February that will span two months and kick off with several U.K. dates. The band will commence U.S. touring of major markets beginning in April. They will live on the road through the summer.
“No Guts, No Glory” follows up the band’s 2008-released debut, “Runnin’ Wild”, which went on to sell upwards of 250,000 units worldwide and earned the band heaps of critical accolades.

It is with great excitement that BULLETBOYS announce the return of original member and bassist LONNIE VENCENT! Lonnie’s major contributions lead to the over success of BULLETBOYS from the beginning and there is no doubt that with Lonnie’s charismatic performances and stage prescence BULLETBOYS take it up a notch. Please welcome back Lonnie Vencent!
With half of the original line up now intact it is only fitting that BULLETBOYS also announce the return of guitarist TONY MARCUS. Tony has joined the band to take over guitar duties. Tony, most notable for his current role as a member in XYZ, also plays in Ashes Of Your Enemy. Tony played in Arcade with Stephen Pearcy (RATT) and also Vicious Delite with Stephen Pearcy (RATT) and Mike Duda (WASP). What most may not know is that Tony was the original replacement for Mick Sweda when he departed in the 90’s. “Music is my life, and rejoining Marq + Lonnie is an honor. Let’s Rock!!” – Tony Marcus
“We’ve been in negotiations with Lonnie and Tony to get them back in the band since May 09′ and had hoped to solidify this lineup for the release of 10c Billionaire and the Rockfest tour. Unfortunately, we didn’t make the cutoffs and had to go with what was available to us at the time good or bad.” – Bill Chavis CEO Chavis Records
BULLETBOYS have been rehearsing in L.A. preparing for leg 2 of the Road To Nowhere Tour 09/10. Dates will be released in the next day or so. BULLETBOYS are days away from launching their new .com which will include some new BulletPig merchandise and are also scheduled for a new photoshoot with world renown photographer Mark Weiss. So stay tuned!

Following the announcement of their forthcoming December 8th album release and the premiere of their new single “Spaceship,” rockers Puddle of Mudd have unveiled the cover to the highly anticipated Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love & Hate. Volume 4 delivers the same savvy lyrics that fans have come to expect since the band’s multi-platinum debut, Come Clean, weaving subtle innuendo and not-so-subtle lyrical wordplay around vocal hooks so thick they even seem to make life’s more sour realities easier to swallow.
“Spaceship,” the Brian Howes- (Hinder, and most recent POM album Famous) produced lead single off the new album, is now available for purchase at digital retailers. Visit PuddleOfMudd.com for more information including new tour dates and grab the track on iTunes today.
All The Way is an eight song e.p. from Swedish glam band Pretty Wild made up of Ivan Höglund (Vocals), Krizzy Field (Guitar), Kim Chevelle (Bass), and Johnny Benson (Drums). The bad news about “All The Way” is there are only six original songs on the album with the other two songs being an alternate version of “Let The Good Times Roll” and a live version of “Dangerous”. The good news is if you are a fan of the Sunset Strip’s 80’s heyday then Pretty Wild is the band for you, with a sound that reminds me of early Motley Crue mixed with Pretty Boy Floyd.
The title track kicks off this disc and it is a catchy rockin’ little tune with some good background vocals, great hooks, and a nice solo from Krizzy Fields. “Time” is another catchy straight up rocker with some nice hooks and melodies, a cool solo from Fields and the rhythm section of Chevelle and Benson play their asses off on this song. “Let The Good Times Roll” is a mid tempo rocker with a touch of acoustic guitar that is probably the best song on All The Way. “Shockin’ Teen” is a straight up rocker where Höglund gets to show off the power of his voice and Fields has another flashy solo. “Dangerous” keeps with the rest of “All The Way” as a catchy rocker with nice background vocals and a solo. “Take It Off” is my second favorite song on this album. Höglund’s vocals sounds great on this song, the song is catchy and sing along with some great background vocals as well.
While I am a little dissappointed that All The Way is so short, it ‘s a solid album with some good songs that definitely give Pretty Wild something to build a full album off of and I will definitely be looking forward to that release.
