I like that Blackie hasn’t changed the sound at all — this could easily be a follow up to “Electric Circus.” A lot more political, people might forget the band name stands for “We Are Sexual Perverts” and the imagery of the video will be lost on some, too… But the message of not blindly following the so-called leadership is clear enough… and Blackie would know, having been a primary target of Tipper Gore’s PMRC censorhip machine. I’m glad someone other than Ted Nugent isn’t afraid to call it like it is, too bad they’re the old guard.
Wow! Blackie hasn’t changed the sound at all—this could easily be a follow-up to “Electric Circus” even if it is more political than “Animal…” The imagery will probably be lost on those that don’t know the band name stands for “We Are Sexual Perverts.” Some might get the wrong idea, but the message about not surrendering to the so-called leadership is important for our times. He would know, having been a target of the PMRC Tipper Gore censorship machine in the 80’s.
I like it!!! Blackie hasn’t changed the sound one bit in all these years–this could easily be a follow up to “Electric Circus.” Its obviously more political than “Animal…” and the imagery will be lost on people that don’t know the band name stands for We Are Sexual Perverts, but “don’t trust the so-called leadership” is a good message for our times. He would know, He was a primary target of the 80’s PMRC Tipper Gore run censorship machine.
