Dave Mustaine dropped by the Megadeth Cyber Army chat room on Tuesday, Nov 16th for a special live chat with his fan club members. The following is an excerpt from the chat.

DM: “So, right now I have Ken Eisennagel, you may remember him from the last two records doing engineering for all of the pre-production phases of Megadeth records? Well, he is here [Megadeth’s studio – Vic’s Garage] going over all of the new Megadeth stuff that I am working on… believe it or not we have five songs almost finished for the new Megs record already!” To read more, and for exclusive chats with Dave Mustaine and the band, join the Megadeth Cyber Army!

I’m never up to date with any band I love and it just kills me but it’s true. Megadeth is as close as I ever get to actually having a favorite band though. I can’t wait to hear it!!! saw them live on the Peace Sells tour way back when and haven’t managed to see them again. YET….my life interferes with my nights out on the town quite a bit but the longer they stay together the better. I’d love to ee Motorhead one of these days, too. the list justgets lengthy tho from there…i’ve been diggin’ TRUST lately and Almost Honest. Classics. keep up the good work, Dave!!!

Dave Mustaine and his band Megadeth never cease to amaze me with their Metal prowess. An incredible band… led by a living Metal legend.

I agree. Endgame was a phenomenal album. Hope they start cranking high quality albums out at a faster pace.

Sweet. I personally thought that Endgame was one of the better albums of 2009-2010. Did you see them on Jimmy Fallon? They were firing on all cylinders, man.
