ARANDA SIGN WITH WIND-UP RECORDS
NEW SINGLE “SATISFIED” NO. 15 AND CLIMBING AT ROCK RADIO
ALBUM IN STORES OCTOBER 16th
Wind-Up Records has signed hard rock buzz band ARANDA and set an October 16th release date for the group’s new album, STOP THE WORLD.
The Oklahoma City-based duo of brothers Dameon (guitar/vocals) and Gabe Aranda (keyboard/vocals) are already blanketing the airwaves with their Top 20 hit single, “Satisfied,” currently No. 15 and climbing on the Active Rock Chart. Grammy-nominated producer Johnny K (Disturbed, Staind) produced the song (and album), which the band has been playing live during their nationwide tour with Saving Abel and Redlight King, and most recently with Theory of a Dead Man.
Over the course of the past few years, Aranda has built a diehard following with guitar-driven, hook-filled rock tracks and constant touring, including dates with bands such as Stone Temple Pilots, All American Rejects, Staind and Papa Roach, among others. In 2009, multi-platinum artist Kelly Clarkson hand-picked two Aranda songs to cover on her album, All I Ever Wanted — including the high-energy in-your-face song of rebellion, “Whyyawannabringmedown” and “All I Ever Wanted,” which became the title for Clarkson’s album. That same year Aranda’s “Whyyawannabringmedown” was selected by the WWE as the theme song for the pay-per-view event, The Bash.
“We are thrilled to be working with Aranda,” says Wind-up General Manager Alan Galbraith. “Through great songwriting and relentless touring they have accomplished much already, both on the road and at radio. We look forward to building on that momentum and taking them to the next level.”

In addition to these marquee acts, Wind-up has scouted and developed several award-winning, newer artists, such as Civil Twilight, Young Guns, Company of Thieves, Jillette Johnson and Thriving Ivory.
Wind-up brings a unique approach to developing and breaking bands. Since its inception nearly 15 years ago, the Company has shipped over 60 million units worldwide. Wind-up has garnered seven multi-platinum albums (including one diamond – sales over 10 million) and seven gold albums.

Additionally, as pioneers of the 360-degree deal, Wind-up umbrellas several other entities, including various publishing companies, a touring division, a television corporation, and Pronto Merch, a full-service merchandise company.
Iconic Entertainer Joins GOP in Tampa to Help Show America is “Back in the Game”
You can still rock in America — and with his blend of common-sense conservatism and rock n’ roll credentials, Jack Blades is out to prove it. The songwriter, bassist, lead singer and front man of Night Ranger and Damn Yankees is in Tampa, Florida this week to participate in the 2012 Republican National Convention, where he’ll perform “Back in the Game,” the lead track from his latest solo effort, Rock ‘n Roll Ride, and make appearances in support of Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan and other GOP candidates.
“This country was built on the hard work of individual Americans who took a chance and pursued a dream,” says Blades, who has sold more than 25 million albums throughout his remarkable career and performed in front of millions of fans worldwide. “Too often today I see that sort of initiative being discouraged and punished. We can do better. That’s why I’m honored to have been asked to be involved in the convention.”
Blades’ music has long had a patriotic flavor, evident in Night Ranger’s classic 1983 hit “(You Can Still) Rock in America” and emerging more recently in his solo hit “Back in the Game,” the video for which made its debut earlier this year on radio and TV host Sean Hannity’s website. Night Ranger also performed for U.S. troops stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in 2008, an experience Blades found deeply inspiring.
With a career spanning three decades, Blades has recorded with, penned songs and produced albums for some of the music industry’s biggest names, including Aerosmith, Cher, Ringo Starr, Alice Cooper, Roger Daltrey, Journey, Vince Neil, Ozzy Osbourne, Styx, Ted Nugent, and Motley Crue.
Blades has brought his common-sense conservatism and passion for America to television, appearing as a guest on Fox News’ “Hannity” and “Red Eye” programs.
Blades’ music has been featured in films such as Armageddon, Oscar-nominated Boogie Nights, Tommy Boy; television shows such as South Park and American Dad, the wildly successful Rock Band and Guitar Hero video games; and the Rock of Ages hit Broadway musical and feature film.

For the next couple of weeks KROKUS producer & bassist Chris Von Rohr along with vocalist Marc Storace are laying down bass and vocal tracks at no other than London’s Abbey Road Studios for the band’s new album. Coincidentally, The Beatles, the band who made this studio famous are celebrating their 50th anniversary this year. Sound engineer for the recording sessions is again Dennis Ward (Unisonic), who also recorded our last album “Hoodoo”.
The working title for KROKUS’ 17th studio album is “Dirty Dynamite”. Producer Chris Von Rohr promises: “The new songs sound like “dirty dynamite”: pure, dirty, in your face hard rock with a touch of blues”. Adds Marc Storace: “We’ve been taking the time it needs writing for our next rock album and we guarantee that it definitely will contain no fillers!”.
