Age of Days

Age of Days lit the fuse this year, blasting back onto the scene, exhibiting a renewed spirit and vigor with their new album, radioactivity. On October 1st, Age of Days will release radioactivity worldwide and fans that have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new album can get it online from iTunes or their favorite online music store.

They won’t be disappointed.  The album’s first single, ‘Bombs Away’, was an immediate hit, reaching #16 on the Active Rock Chart in their home country of Canada and earning a feature on the CFL’s Ultimate Replay.  It’s an incendiary example of the kind of powerful, hook-laden, guitar crunching, powerhouse music that has made Age of Days a favorite of the modern rock crowd and an in-demand live act.

Other notable tracks include ‘Now Or Never’ which was co-written with Sal Coz Costa formerly from My Darkest Days, and features Costa on guitar and synths and Cody Hanson of Hinder on drums. ‘Broken’ was a featured track for the NHL Network’s Plays of the Week, and the current single, ‘I Did It For Love’, was co-written with award winning producer Brian Howes (Nickelback, Hinder, Puddle of Mudd, Daughtry).

American and Canadian fans alike fell in love with the band’s smash debut album, Hollywood Ending, in 2008, and the single “Afflicted” was a Top 20 Hit in Canada, a Top 50 US Single, and a #1 smash on Sirius/XM’s Octane Channel. Their radio success earned Age of Days a tour across North America with the likes of The Offspring, Papa Roach, Hinder, and My Darkest Days. After the release of radioactivity, Age of Days toured across Canada, playing huge summer festivals with Buckcherry and some incredible shows with Grammy award-winning band, Halestorm.  This October they will head out on a North American tour with Pop Evil and Papa Roach.

They nail the modern hard rock formula, from the beefy production to the grittily soulful vocals to the punchy power chords to the catchy choruses to the crunchy guitars…it’s the modern rock equivalent of a juicy cheeseburger cooked just right. ~ HardRock Haven
