Heaven’s Edge Heavens Edge is a glam metal from Philiadelphia, PA that got signed to Columbia Records. This self titled debut had little success, and the band disappeared shortly thereafter.

This disc is one of the better glam metal discs from the early 90’s. As a result it is averaging around 25 – 30 on EBay today, but is certainly worth seeking out.

Heavens Edge features Mark Evans on vocals and guitar, Reggie Wu on guitar, keyboards and background vocals, Steven Parry on guitar and background vocals, G.G. Guidotti on bass and background vocals, and DavidRareRockRewindMedium Rath on drums and percussion.

Neil Kernon (Autograph, Dokken, Queensryche) produced this CD, and the sound of this disc is very Dokken like.

Highlights on this disc, are Skin to Skin, Play Dirty, Bad Reputation, Find Another Way and Hold on To Tonight.

I still play this disc from time to time, and wonder why these guys never hit it as big as some of other bands that were on the scene at the same time. It is a great glam metal disc and worth seeking out if you don’t own a copy! You can hear more of the band’s song at their myspace page here.
