Miami hard rock group, Black Tide, has unleashed its long-awaited sophomore album, Post Mortem, today on Interscope Records. Post Mortem, the follow-up to 2008’s, Light From Above, was recorded with Gggarth Richardson (Atreyu, Rage Against The Machine) and Josh Wilbur (Lamb Of God) and includes the current single “That Fire,” alongside nine other brand new originals.
Post Mortem is available in stores and online via digital download through iTunes. Fans can stream the entire album for a free preview of the ten electrifying tracks.

0 New Video – Black Tide – That Fire
BLACK TIDE has just premiered the video for its new single, “That Fire,” exclusively on IGN.com. The track appears on the band’s upcoming sophomore release, Post Mortem, due out August 23rd on DGC/Interscope Records.
The P.R. Brown (My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold, Prince) directed video was shot in Los Angeles, CA and features a live performance of the song, while lead singer Gabriel Garcia deceives his future bride with her bridesmaids. Fans can watch behind-the-scenes footage from the video to find out the meaning straight from the band. “It’s for the dudes that have girlfriends on the side,” explains bassist Zakk Sandler. “That Fire,” is available for purchase on iTunes now.
In addition to the exclusive video premiere, IGN is also featuring all of the girls in the video for their “Babes of the Day” and sharing more photos and background on models Maya Michelle, Jessica Morrison, and bride Alexandra Woltin.
Black Tide will join this year’s Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival, which will cut across North America from August 26th to October 15th. After non-stop touring in support of BLACK TIDE’S 2008 debut release, Light From Above, the band is back and ready to release their sophomore album, Post Mortem, on August 23rd, 2011 via DGC/Interscope Records. The album features the first single, “Bury Me,” which is currently streaming on the band’s MySpace page.
In support of the new release, Black Tide will join the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival starting August 26th through October 15th featuring Avenged Sevenfold, Three Days Grace, Seether, Bullet For My Valentine, and more. Revolver called the tour “one of the most electric tours of the year” in 2010.
