Sound And Fury Assaults Great White North On Canadian Tour With Airbourne
***
REJECT ALL THINGS POP FOR REAL, RAMPAGING, ROCK ON DEBUT ALBUM, “SOUND AND FURY” IN STORES NOW!
Toronto’s high powered rock n’ roll powerhouse Sound & Fury have announced their Canadian tour supporting Australian rockers Airbourne. The announcement comes on the heels of the release of the band’s self-titled debut, which hit stores via Rebel Youth Records/MRI-RED Distribution.
Sound and Fury recently shot a video for “Teenage Rampage” at Toronto’s Bovine Sex Club with director Britt Wilen. The video can be seen online at the following location https://new.soundandfury.com/ajax.asp?video=rampage
Sound and Fury frontman Luke Metcalf commented, “The song is about a pretty wild girl I dated in high school and I wanted a video about her that was NOT politically correct. I wanted a video that showed what we were doing; drinking, getting stoned, listening to Rock and Roll and having sex, without some bullshit negative message. Good times!!!”
Sound and Fury, which also includes guitarists Daz and Griffin, bassist John Kerns, and drummer Chris Avalos, is all about power chords, no-BS rock ‘n roll, and total sonic assault, as evidenced by the lead-off turbo-charged single and video from ‘Sound and Fury,’ “18.” The group’s stripped down straight up rock n’ roll and was praised by PunkTV.ca for “combining iconoclastic AC/DC thunder, Misfits brooding, the raw impetuousness of the Pistols and the charismatic anthemic song styling’s of the Ramones. In addition to perfectly capturing their raw power on album, Sound & Fury has been gaining fans by the truckload by also opening up for Canada’s leading pop-punk band, Sum 41, throughout the great white north (as well as the U.K.).
The band has also announced they will be giving away five pairs of tickets to each show for fans who join the Sound & Fury street-team at www.rebelyouth.com. Fans are encouraged to join the street-team to qualify to tickets, Sound & Fury merchandise and a customized Guitar Hero game.

3 Doors Down are returning with another shot of arena-ready rock in the form of their self-titled album. The band’s new single, “It’s Not My Time” has had huge success at radio with fans clogging request lines from coast to coast. The much anticipated fourth studio album was produced by Johnny K. (Disturbed, Finger Eleven) and is packed with the kinds of guitar anthems that have made the Mississippi band one of the most consistent acts in rock today. The album spans the entire spectrum of the 3 Doors Down sound. Barnstormers like “Runaway” were definitely created for the energy of a live setting while the lush, “Pages” tugs at your heartstrings with its infectious vocal melodies and lyrics.

1 Bullet For My Valentine On 2008’s “Taste Of Chaos” Tour
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE ON 2008’S “TASTE OF CHAOS” NORTH AMERICAN TREK
Tour Dates in Support of the Band’s “Scream Aim Fire,” Out January 29
Los Angeles, CA – December 19, 2007 — With the title track from their upcoming album, “Scream Aim Fire,” already blazing at Rock Radio, the Welsh metal-core band BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE announces that they will join forces with Avenged Sevenfold and Atreyu on the Main Stage for “Taste of Chaos,” 2008. The tour kicks off Friday, February 29 in Denver, CO, and will play more than 40 cities in the U.S. and Canada through to late April. The UK’s Kerrang! magazine recently cited a Bullet show at London’s Brixton Academy as one of the “100 Greatest Gigs Ever,” so U.S. fans should be in for a string of sensational performances.
The “Taste of Chaos” dates will be the first North American tour for Bullet For My Valentine since early 2007 when they sold out their first headline tour this side of “the Pond.” Just prior to “Taste of Chaos,” B4MV will play three weeks-worth of headline dates in the UK and Europe, including a kick-off concert in their native Wales.
Bullet For My Valentine – Matthew “Matt” Tuck/vocals, Michael “Padge” Paget/Guitar, Michael “Moose” Thomas/drums, and Jason “Jay” James/Bass – saw their 2006 debut album, “The Poison” – dubbed “One of the finest debut albums in rock history” by a major UK daily – sail past the million sales mark, selling 350,000 in the U.S. alone.
“Scream Aim Fire” was produced by Colin Richardson (Machinehead, Funeral For A Friend) who also produced “The Poison,” and was recorded at Sonic Ranch near El Paso, TX earlier this year. The eleven new songs are, according to frontman Tuck, “really melodic heavy metal…catchy, hooky choruses and full-on vocals, with the music being very in-your-face and heavy…it’s a lot more uptempo [than ‘The Poison’], a lot more aggressive.” Still a week away from the official U.S. radio “add” date, the album’s title track has been the #1 Most Added track at CMJ’s Loud Rock chart, and #1 Most Added at FMQB’s Metal Detector chart.
