Crazy Lixx – Loud Minority (Release Year – 2007)
Sweden seems to have a never ending pool of talent, when it comes to glam metal.
Crazy Lixx’s new CD, Loud Minority is an album that hair metal fans across the world can rejoice about.
Crazy Lixx has pledged to bring great 80’s style rock back, and with Loud Minority, they have done just that.
This disc was produced by Chris Laney (Zan Clan, Randy Piper’s Animal) and as a result, sounds like a million bucks.
I have listened to a lot of new glam CD’s in 2007, and especially during Glam Month at Hard Rock Hideout, and I don’t think there is one that I have enjoyed as much as Loud Minority.
There are some obvious hits on Loud Minority, with Want It, and Heroes are Forever. There isn’t a bad song in the bunch on Loud Minority. Crazy Lixx has formed eleven quality sing along anthems, that will surely appeal to fans of 80’s glam metal. Some of my personal favorites are Hell and High Water, Want It, and Love on the Run.
The video below is the band performing Do or Die live in 2006. The sound isn’t the greatest, but it will give you an idea of what Crazy Lixx sounds like.
I recommend checking out the Crazy Lixx’s myspace page, where you can find a video for their song Want It and additional song samples. If you are a fan of 80’s style glam metal, you need to pick this disc up! This disc is available for purchase online at Swedmetal records.
