Dilana Signs Record Deal

DilanaDilana Robichaux — who is best known for her participation on the hit CBS reality-show “Rock Star: Supernova” — has inked a deal with Hurricane Music Group (HMG) in London. The singer will enter the studio later this month with producer Toby Wright (ALICE IN CHAINS, KORN, METALLICA, FEAR FACTORY) to begin recording her new album for a late 2008 release.

Robichaux last year signed a worldwide, long term, co-publishing agreement with Cherry Lane Music Publishing Company Inc., whose roster includes songwriters such as Quincy Jones, the BLACK EYED PEAS, and John Legend.

Dilana has been collaborating with MÖTLEY CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars on material for her new album, although it’s unclear if any of the songs will make the final cut.

  4. My daughter is her “littlest biggest” fan or as Dilana calls her “her little angel” She is only 4 and fell in love with her on the show! She will be so excited to have a WHOLE CD of songs to listen to rather than just the few we downloaded. WTG lady! We r so proud and can’r wait to see you back here in Spring.
